Today Junior Infants to 3rd class went on an educational trip to Fota. This trip supported our work on Biodiversity to date as we work towards our next Green Flag. The children were given a behind the scenes tour of the giraffe house and a guided tour of the park while learning about individual animals. They spent time in the woodland learning about minibeasts and played a game where they pretended to be squirrels. To end the tour the children were shown some native Irish animals and birds.
