In January the junior and senior infants classroom was transformed into a doctor’s surgery. The children explored the roles of the receptionist, nurse, patient and doctor. The children made their own stethoscopes and x-ray pictures in art. We explored safety strategies for crossing the road and learnt the safe cross code. In Gaeilge we learnt all about Teidí bocht and in Religion the children listened to stories about Jesus healing the sick.
